Weldless joint method for wall-type precast connections
The MONO joint method is designed for the lead direct joints of PCa walls in buildings with five stories or fewer made of wall-type precast (PCa) reinforced concrete. It is a welding-free joint method that uses hoop-shaped rebar instead of the conventional joint method that involves flaring welds for the joining bars. Instead of flaring welds, it simply involves bundling oval-shaped hoop bars, which reduces labor in the process.
